How to Determine the Cause of Low Back Pain | Chiropractor in Newport Beach, CA
Here is a test that you can try to see if your low back pain is coming from a pinched nerve.
Pinched Nerve Test
When your low back is out of the proper position, you can pinch nerves, causing low back pain and leg pain. One way we can tell if the nerves are being irritated is by stretching one of these nerves. The nerves went from the base of the skull all the way down to the tip of the toes. To test if these nerves are being pinched, sit up nice and tall, then slouch and let your head fall down. Then straighten the legs and bring the toes towards you. This puts maximum stress on the nerves. If you feel a massive increase in your symptoms, and electrical shooting impulses, then you most likely have pressure on your nerve.
